I met Louise in Nerja, she was getting ready with her mum and her bridesmaids. The apartment was a fantastic place to shoot with lots of shiny surfaces and glass to shoot through I enjoyed creating some cool images. Louise and Kenny were getting married today in Frigiliana, voted the prettiest village in Spain. The couple and their guests were all from Ireland and getting married in Spain they were set for a hot and sunny summer wedding.
The church of Frigiliana is located at the highest point of the village and with no parking I parked my car at the bottom of the village and armed with my cameras I began the hike up the steep hill! A little hot and bothered I arrived at the church, and with enough time to cool down and spend some time photographing the groom, Kenny, it was time for the ceremony. A traditional church wedding the couple said their vows and the guests and the happy couple made their way to the bar opposite the church. The views are stunning in Frigiliana and the perfect back drop for some family portraits and a few with the newly weds. This is the only place I shoot the family photos in the middle of a road, the backdrop is fantastic and trying to get the next family set up before a scooter or car wants to pass was rather comical, but well worth it!
It was soon time for the decent down the hill and off to the venue. A little drive to Almuñécar to the Hotel AlbayzindelMar forfor todays celebrations. Everyone enjoyed their refreshing drinks around the pool and soaking up the atmosphere before being seated to a scrumptious dinner. I left before the evening party and thanked Louise and Kenny for a fantastic day. It was a beautiful day and pleased that my sat nav got me to all my locations I left the wedding for a long drive home and excited to see the images of the day.
Hope you enjoy a few of my faves from the day and all the other images.
