It is always a privilege to be invited to photograph a wedding a little further a field. Peniscola was the destination for Keighleigh and John’s wedding! A lovely seaside town, south of Barcelona was the perfect backdrop for today’s Irish wedding celebration in Spain.
I think Keighleigh was one of my most laid-back brides! She was so chilled out and just loving every minute of her day. She was all set to marry her man at the top of the hill overlooking the town and the ocean. The views are breathtaking and with a castle surrounding the church it was the perfect spot for their wedding.
All the guests made their way to the ceremony in style, The local tourist train was on hand to transport the guests and it was certainly a fun start to the day and unique wedding guest transportation. The happy couple said their vows surrounded by nearest and dearest. After, the weather had taken a surprising turn for the worst, but with a castle to shelter for some portraits and the sound of thunder it just added to the fun.
The wedding reception was held at the lovely Hosteria Del Mar and when the band started there was no mistaking this was an Irish wedding. The band had some serious skills and everyone was soon on the dance floor!
I loved being part of Keighleigh and John’s day. They are a great couple and I was made to feel so welcome on the day. Thanks for having me and hope you enjoy your images.
